Autumn Venessa Viola Prince

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Autumn Prince has passed away at the age of 18 years on February 19, 2019. 

Autumn was born on April 8, 2000 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the women’s hospital. 

She leaves to mourn her passing, Parents: Gardina & Gaston, Marsha & Micheal, sisters: Venessa (Jesmar),Jasmine Brothers: Armand & Princeton Grandparents: Marcella Prince & Clifford Carver. Koko Marilyn Beauchamp, Aunts: Jerilyn, Shauna (Shaun), Laurenda, Farrah, Sheila, Corinne (Jay) and Shirley. Uncles: Melvin, Jonny, Waylon, Reggie and Jeff. Many cousins, friends and extended family. She was pre-deceased by Grandfather: Daniel Beauchamp, Aunt: Venessa Prince. Cousin: Patsy Desmarias, and special great aunt Helen Desjarlais.

She resided in Winnipeg for a number of years prior to moving to Brokenhead Ojibway Nation, she was an extraordinary young lady who made everyone feel special, she was kind and compassionate. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she loved traveling, music, singing, writing and baking, she loved to paint her nails and curl her hair and of course shopping. She was humorous and loved to laugh and enjoyed making others laugh. She especially enjoyed spending time with special cousins; Dreyden, Jackson, Marlie and Lorenda. She enjoyed laughing and teasing her stepdad Howard Contios. Autumn has touched many lives with  the kind and loving way she viewed life. We would like to thank all of those who have supported us during this difficult time, your prayers and kind words are appreciated. 

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday February 28, 2019 from 7pm-12am at Eternal Grace Funeral Home. 

Wake service will be held on Friday March 1st, 2019 in Scanterbury, Manitoba at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Centre at 7pm.Funeral Service will also be held in Scanterbury on Saturday March 2nd, 2019 at 2pm
