Lisa Marie Berens -Flett

Lisa Marie Berens-Flett passed away on May 30, 2019, at the age of 46. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on the 5th floor of the Women’s Hospital.  She leaves to grieve her beloved mother Doris Flett, daughter Jessica Berens, grandson Ezekiel “Zeek” Berens-Whiteway, partner Arthur Haynes and many friends and family.  Lisa was predeceased by Melvin Berens (father), Henry Flett (step-father) and Samuel Flett (step-brother).

Lisa was born to Doris Flett and Melvin Berens on April 26, 1973 in Winnipeg, MB. When she was the age of one she was raised by Doris Flett and Henry Flett with her step-brothers Elvis Flett and Samuel Flett. On February 25, 1992 she welcomed her only child to the world, daughter Jessica Berens and on May 19, 2018 she became a proud grandmother with the birth of Ezekiel Dawson Elijah “Zeek” Berens-Whiteway who she loved greatly. She enjoyed fishing, spending time up river, cooking, reading and binging on movies. She was a strong woman with the most vibrant, hilarious personality that will be remembered and cherished all who knew her.  She lived her life humbly, lived it to the fullest and loved her family dearly and unconditionally.
