Stella Demedash

STELLA DEMEDASH 

January 5, 1925 – November 30, 2019 

Peacefully with her loving family by her side, Stella passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. 

Stella is survived by her Son Lloyd (Gloria), Daughter Darlene, Granddaughters Joanne (Alan), Linda (Joe), Barbie and Stella’s sister Kay.  She was predeceased by her Husband Bill, Son, baby Brian, parents John and Tekla Horbal, brothers Steve and Mike, Sisters Mary and Jarice, Son in Law Jerry and many loved ones from the Demedash and Horbal family. 

Stella loved getting together with her family & friends and enjoyed cooking, tending to her garden and making perogies with the ladies at the church.  Her faith, church and many friends at UCWL of BVM were very important to her and later at the Holy Family Nursing Home Church and programs. 

Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church 965 Boyd Avenue, Winnipeg Thursday December 5, 2019 at 10:30am with Father Volodymyr Bashutsky 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church or Holy Family Home Festival of Lights.
