William Chartrand

In loving memory of our beloved father, stepfather, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. 

Due to a lengthy illness William Chartrand passed away in the city of Winnipeg on Thursday April 4, 2019 surrounded by family.

 He was predeceased by his wife Mary Kithithee in 2012; parents William in 1972, Margaret in 2003; 3 brothers Garfield, Thomas and Gerald; sister Margaret.

He leaves to mourn his 2 children Colin Brass (Jalene) Regina Sk. and Shelley Brass of Calgary Ab.; the mother of his children Elizabeth Brass of Wpg, MB. Step children Marcel ,Monica , Ginger ,Keesha ,Dene  of Winnipeg; special grandson Frank; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren ; siblings Stan, Rose Horde Swan Lake, MB, Joe Key Swan River, MB, Willard Chartrand Edmonton AB, Norman Chartrand Winnipeg, MB, Gilbert Chartrand Winnipeg MB, Marlene Elsner (Hal) Star City, SK, Ivan Chartrand (Bernice) Prince Albert, SK. and Chelsey Chartrand Prince Albert, SK. Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

William was born in National Mill, Manitoba on December 29, 1948. Bill lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for restoring vehicles. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing country music. William was known for his determination and strength. After a stroke he lost mobility, but with determination he gained most of his mobility back.

A celebration of life will be held at Weetamah Church 324 Logan Ave, on Thursday April 11, 2019 6pm – 8pm., with Pastor Brian officiating.

Cremation to follow. His final resting place will be with his beloved Mary at Brookside cemetery.
