Anthony McDonald Obituary

Anthony John Paul McDonald (Tony) from Winnipeg, MB passed peacefully with his family by his side after a lengthy battle with illness.

Tony is survived by his wife of 42 years Sharon (nee Currie) of Winnipeg, MB; daughter Kim (DanielMacAulay); son Matthew; grandchildren Zackery, Jordan, Corbyn, and Aurora; sister Grace; brothers-in-law David Currie and Roy Knox; nieces and nephews. Tony had a great passion for sports and cars, he was known to all as the neighborhood mechanic! He graduated from Red River with his mechanics licence and ended up working for Motor Coach Industries for 27 years.

Tony was the only Boppa (Grandpa) to his grandkids. This truly made him a one of a kind. His great big bear hugs and sloppy wet kisses will be missed.

Funeral services will be held at Calvary Temple (Buntain chapel), 400 Hargrave St. on Friday July 10,2020 at 1 p.m. with pastor Bruce Martin officiating.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the Home Care staff and the staff of E3 of Riverview Health Centre for the wonderful care and support they provided for Tony.

We love you Tony/Dad/Boppa. Until we meet again.
