Christopher Assiniboine Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Kenneth Assiniboine, April 14, 2023, at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 40.

Chris will be deeply missed by his daughters Cassidy Assiniboine, and Dorian Larviere; as well as his mother Karen Smith; siblings Vernon, Melissa, Terry, Sherry, Blake, and Tisha; aunts Leona Smith, Cheryl Martin, Maggie Myran, Kathy and Lisa Assiniboine; uncles Del and James Assiniboine, Stan Irvine and Marcel French; Chris also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Harold Assiniboine; grandparents Jim Assiniboine and Rosemary Assiniboine, Dennis Assiniboine, Kenny Assiniboine, Leo Hayden and Sarah Smith; Aunty Joan.

Wake service will be held on April 18th, 2023, from 5pm - 9pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals.

Service will follow on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Long Plains First Nation.
