Darren Bruce Bilinski

Darren Bilinski, 50, passed away March 8th in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Funeral Services will be held at Eternal Grace Funeral Home Saturday, March 14th, 2020 from 1pm – 6pm.

Darren was born on May 29th, 1969 in Winnipeg Manitoba and graduated from Tec Voc High School. Darren was a family man. He was a great father to his three children who he loved dearly. He made sure to call his family members at least once a day, if not twice or three times. He made everyone feel at home and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He was able to put a smile on anyone’s face and he always filled every room with laughter and love. Darren’s first granddaughter was born in 2016. She brought a different kind of sparkle to Darren’s life. Once Darren was becoming less mobile, he took to painting. He painted many canvases and even requested paints, brushes, and canvases to be brought to the hospital. Darren fought a long battle with his sickness, but he always had high spirits, right to the end. 

Darren is survived by his three children, Dallas Bilinski, Brandon Erstelle and Candida Erstelle, his granddaughter Kaelyn Benoit, his mother Sarah Bilinski, His father Stanley Bilinski, His siblings, Robert Bilinski, Sandra Bilinski, and Gina Bilinski and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Darren is predeceased by his Grandmother Mary Roulette, Grandfather John Roulette, Uncles Edward and Jim Roulette and cousin Sonny McKay.

Darren took his last breaths surrounded by his family. He will always be loved and never forgotten.

A special thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff at Health Sciences Centre for making Darren as comfortable as possible during his last few months in the hospital.
