Dimitri Byron Duck 27 years passed away April 17, 2024 in Winnipeg.
Dimitri leaves behind his daughter Gail Tilson ( mother Eve Tilson). Siblings Joseph, Trevor, Kashawna, and Tamara. His uncle Charley Duck (Elaine) Aunties Rhonda, Valeria, Marilyn, and Tracy. Special friend and former staff Stephanie Daniels.
Dimitri was predeceased by his mother Terry Duck, his brother Desmond Duck, grandparents Charlie and Ellen Duck, aunties Elaine, Priscilla, Angeline, Florence, Cheryl, Tanya and uncles Ernie and Kenneth.
Dimitri spent his young adult years living with Turning Leaf support services where he created many long life friendships, his former roommates Steve, Vince and former staff supervisor Ashley Ledwos will miss him greatly.
Dimitri loved to play golf and cooking his favourite dishes to make were bannock dogs and lemon meringue pie taught to him by former staff Hazel Porteous.
Dimitri was known for his infectious laugh and loved to tease and joke around with everyone. Dimitri wanted to pursue a career in the culinary arts as he loved to cook and bake.
Dimitri will be greatly missed by his uncle Charley and wife Elaine as he stayed with them after the loss of his mother, and began rebuilding his relationships with his family members.
Wake service in Winnipeg will be held on Monday at Eternal Grace Funerals April 22, 2024 from 7 to 11 pm. Wake service will continue Wednesday April 24 and Thursday April 25 in Bloodvein First Nation at the Old School gymnasium. Funeral service will follow on Friday April 26, 2024 @ 11 am at the Old School gymnasium.
Pallbearers will be Charles, Dillon, Anthony, Rollie, Titus, Preston, Jamie, and Maxwell.
