With sadness we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend
Ernest Roy Amos on October 30, 2023 at the age of 69 years old.
Roy will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 32 years Darlene Gzebowski, his son Travis Amos who he was
so proud of, Sister Donna Amos, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tubby was predeceased by his parents Clifford & Emma Spence, brothers Lawrence Spence & Clarence Flett,
niece Dolores Stevenson and Uncle Norbert Flett.
Tubby was born and raised in Peguis. He moved to Winnipeg for the greater part of his life where he met his love
Darlene and together they raised their son Travis.
Tubby worked as a security guard in Winnipeg for many years. He enjoyed singing Karaoke, sharing jokes and
showing off his trinkets to everyone he encountered.
Tubby, Cowboy, Hank was one of a kind, he will be forever missed by all who knew him.
