It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Ian Elvis Prince at the age of 62 on Wednesday September 15,2021, at the Health Science Centre with his sister Cindy and stepdaughter Emily by his side.
Elvis was predeceased by his parents Dorothy Prince and Albert Sinclair. Sons Ian and Jamie; grandparents Ronald and Lena Prince, Harry, and Margaret Sinclair; sisters Brenda, Bonny, and Cheryl.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Marcella, Cindy, Gwen Crystal, Corinne, and brother Glen; granddaughter Brianna Lee; stepdaughters Emily and Denise along with numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Elvis grew up in Scanterbury, MB. Where he resided until he moved to Winnipeg, MB. Where he resided until he moved to Winnipeg MB. Elvis worked numerous jobs in his younger years. Elvis was very kindhearted and had a great sense of humor, loved socializing and was always willing to help his family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday September 26,2021 from 7pm-11pm at Eternal Grace Funerals. Wake service will continue Monday September 27,2021 at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Centre beginning at 3p.m. Funeral will take place on Tuesday September 28,2021 at 1p.m. also at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Centre. Interment to follow.
Pallbearers are Mikey Funk, Clarence Smith, Marvin Smith, Lawrence Cook, James Aster and Pat Bunn.
