Joe Swampy (aka Joe Nation) Houston
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin, Joe Swampy (AKA Joe Nation) Houston on Monday, July 25, 2022.
Joe was predeceased by his daughter Courtney Swampy; sisters Christine Swampy, Londa Durston; uncle Clifford Swampy; and grandmother Mary Thomas.
Joe is survived by his parents Jerry Houston and Jane Houston; siblings, brother Michael Houston, sister Judy (BooBoo) Moggach (Dave); and other family members.
Left to mourn his passing are his children; Kenneth, Little Joey, Jada, Sooklyn, Dreydon, Chloe, Serenity, Sage, Jurnee, Avery, Soleil, Liam, Hudson; and numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Joe was loved by so many. He was a very caring person and loved to help the Sagkeeng community. He will be deeply missed. Special thanks to family and friends for all your support during this difficult time.
Viewing and Wake will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Eternal Grace Funerals from 4:00pm to 9:30pm.
Service by Pastor Marshal Murdock, will begin at 5:00pm, and a reception will follow.
