Lawrence Albert Robertson

On November 16, 2021, Lawrence “Shaggy” Albert Robertson peacefully passed away with his family by his side and is now with our loving savior Jesus Christ. Lawrence is reunited with his mother Matilda, father William Sr, brother Hector, sister Francis, and grand-daughter Ava Lynn. Lawrence leaves behind his wife loving Victoria, son Willy (Pearl), Cheyanne (Ryan) Robertson, and step-children Murle, Eric, Audrey, and Conrad Nepink. 

Special grand-children Jayla, Aiyana, Willie, Caleb, and Ashlyn who will all miss their papa! And numerous other grand-children. 

Sisters Verna (Mathew) Chubb, Shirley Balfour.  

Brothers, Danny (Patsy), Alec (Thelma), Wilfred, Joseph (Kyla) Robertson’s  

Special aunty Irene Tuner, and other numerous other uncles and aunties.  

Sister in-laws Marina and Marlene Laquette, and predeceased sister in-laws Shirley Laquette and Genevieve Ferguson 

Brother in-laws, Darcy, Lawrence (Kathy) Laquette, and predeceased brother in-laws Enrst Laquette 

Lawrence was a loving, kind, and humble man. He loved playing the guitar at church and at home. He was very skillful at music. He loved reading the bible, and prided himself in raising his children in church. He is very family orientated and was always happy seeing family. He enjoyed walks, shopping, and just sitting outside enjoying the sun. Lawrence was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2009 which has been progressing gradually since then. Lawrence was greatly loved, and he will be greatly missed. 

The celebration for Lawrence’s life will be held at the Eternal Grace Funerals at 1111 Logan Avenue in Winnipeg, MB. The wake and viewing will be on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 7pm. The funeral service will be at 1pm. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
