Lydia Louise Monkman

Lydia Louise Monkman passed away on Sunday October 11,2020 at the St. Boniface Hospital.

Lydia leaves to cherish her memory her father Wilfred Goosehead; husband Tommy Monkman; sisters Matilda (Albert), Viola, Phyllis (Cigar), Grace (Jake), Arlene, Darlene, Francine (Randy), Grace ,Angie Keno, and Noreen (Gary); brothers Laurie, Vincent, Brian (Blyo), Darryl, and William; daughters Valentina Monkman, and Brittney Young; grandchildren Shinel Goosehead, Nydia Goosehead, Donte Goosehead, Mikey Chief, Kingsley Rae, Thomas Monkman and Kristopher Rae; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Four special relatives and friend Ingrid Pascal, Claudette Sinclair, Kim Scott, and Harold Catcheway.

She was predeceased by her mother Margaret Goosehead, grandparents William and Clara Skye and Timothy and Angelque Goosehead; daughter Kerry Goosehead; son Thomas Goosehead; sister Bernadette Goosehead, and brother Carl Fabian Goosehead. Due to Covid 19 restrictions private service will be held at Eternal Grace Funerals. Wake service will continue at the Bloodvein Community Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Valentina Monkman, Kelvin Raven, Wilma Young, Melvin McKay, Erica Young, Melanie Young, Jenelle Franklin, Melissa Goosehead, Aaliyah Goosehead, Whitney Young, Brittney Young, Laurie Goosehead, Gilbert Young, Margaret Orvis, Dominique Traverse, Peyton Goosehead, and Shanetta Goosehead. Pallbearers will be Albert Raven Jr., William Young (Poshi), Thomas Goosehead, Benny Goosehead, Maurice Skye and Laurie Goosehead Jr.
