Marie Jeanne Whitford

Marie J. Whitford, age 85, passed away on December 22nd, 2020.  During her many years in the hospitality field, mom met numerous people and touched many lives.  Mom had so much energy to spare, she was rarely at home relaxing.  One could find her at the Farmer’s Market, walking around the malls, or just riding around the city on the buses checking out new stores.

Mom loved being around people but also enjoyed canning vegetables and baking.  Mom had a great sense of humor and she loved a good laugh. 

Marie is survived by her love and best friend, Freddie, daughters; Lorraine, Arlene (Gordie), Bev (Mike), son-in-law, Patrick, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; Harry and Elizabeth Whitford, by her daughter, Evelyne and her son, Richard.

Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, a private family service will be held with Bro. Tom Novak officiating, interment Brookside Cemetery.
