Obituary
Roland Hamilton passed away on May 8, 2023, at his residence in Winnipeg, MB, age 66 years.
He is survived by his sisters Maryanne Own, and Noella Spence; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Harriette; brothers Harold, Gordon, Morton, Patrick, Melvin, Roddy; and sister Virginia; half-brothers Henry Bushie, and Frederick Bushie; half-sisters Maggie Young, and Maudina Green.
Roland was a teacher all his life. Being an educator, his work took him throughout Manitoba and Ontario.
Wake Service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 7pm – 11pm at Eternal Grace Funerals.
As per Roland’s wishes cremation will follow with a closed casket.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 1pm at the old school in Bloodvein First Nation.
Pastor Abe Hoepner will officiate both services.
