Stefan Buium Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Stefan Buium.

After a long Battle of Liver Cancer (a reoccurring cancer that spread, due to a past diagnosis & treatment of Gastrointestinal Cancer.)

Stefan passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11th, 2021

in the Pine Falls Hospital (PineFalls Sagkeeng MB) at the age of 61 yrs old. Surrounded by his children. (John & Jeneice)

Stefan is survived by his (former) spouse of 30 yrs. Janet Lee Favel, of Pine Falls Sagkeeng, MB. And their 3 children:eldest stepson Daniel Robinson (age 35yrs.) & spouse Crystal Lynn Abraham. Of Pine Falls Sagkeeng,MB.

Son Johnathan (age 30yrs.) & spouse Charmaine Buium. Of Pine Falls Sagkeeng, MB.

& Daughter Jeneice Buium (age 28yrs.) Of Selkirk, MB.;and his beloved Mother Elisabeth Buium of Poiana Neampt, Poiana Romania.

As well as his many beloved grandchildren: Emery, Chloe, Matthew, Gavin, Talitha (Tally) Jared, Johnathan Kane (Kaney-Man) Ionel (Nelly) & Elisabeth (Queenie).

He was predeceaseded by his father Lonel Buium of Poiana Neampt, Poiana Romania.

There will be a Wake service held on Monday September 20th from at 11:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will continue Tuesday September 21st, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the residence of Johnathan & Charmaine Buium. (Pine Falls, MB.)

Following the Wake service (Mon & Tues) We will be having a small luncheon gathering in honor of our Dad. (Romanian bread & soup, & homemade chili, & other delicious homemade soups to be served). **We Ask that no alcohol be present & no persons to show up (to any of the ceremonies) if they are intoxicated, or they will be escorted out of the residence. Please show respect to our dad. **

Funeral service will be held Wednesday September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at the fort Alexander Parish Church in Sagkeeng, MB. Interment to follow.

Pall bearers will be: Joseph (Joey) Guimond, Douglas Favel, William Barto , Matthew Clarke, Merle Johnstone & Johnathan Buium.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Edwin Clarke.
