Thomas Michael Manitopyes "Lil Tommy"

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Thomas "Lil Tommy" Michael Manitopyes, who began his journey to the Spirit World on June 22, 2026, at the age of 38. Thomas was born on October 9, 1987, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Thomas was predeceased by his beloved parents, Thomas Sr. and Shirley Manitopyes, and by his sister, Destiny.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Thomas, Michael, Frankie, and Natalia; his siblings, Gary, Cyndi (Fletcher), Tara, Dustin, Chris, and Kyle.

Thomas was the cherished son of Thomas Manitopyes Sr., was born in Muskowekwan, Saskatchewan and Shirley Manitopyes (née LaQuette) were born in Fairford Manitoba.

Thomas was also cherished his grandparents Jerry Manitopyes and Irene Manitopyes (née Pratt) on his paternal side; John LaQuette and Laura LaQuette (née Letandre) on his maternal side.

Thomas will be remembered for the love and compassion he had for his four children and the memories he shared with those closest to him. Though his time here was far too short, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Those we love don't go away; they travel back to the stars and walk beside us every day in the spirit world.

Wake service to be held on Sunday July 5, 2026, from 6pm – 11pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB).

Funeral service to be held on Monday July 6, 2026, at 11am, also at Eternal Grace Funerals.

Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
