Viola Ann Martin

Viola was born on November 17, 1936. Viola spent most of her life in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Viola passed with family by her side on May 12, 2022.

Mom was predeceased by her Mother Ivy Orr; son Timothy Tarasoff; daughter Susan Martin; special friend Dusty Scarrett; granddaughter Staysea Martin; and grandson Shayne Tarasoff.

Mom is survived by her children Loretta Martin, Donna Davidson (Martin) Verna Tarasoff, Wayne Hollands, Gary Bluschke, and Robbie Gladue (Katherine Gladue); numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; Mom was also survived by her long time friend Debbie Forrest.

Mom loved her music. She enjoyed partying and dancing with her friends and family.

Mom enjoyed her card games, such as solitaire and crazy 8’s.

Mom really enjoyed watching her soaps, while eating sunflower seeds. If you let her, she’d watch them from the time she opened her eyes, until she went to sleep.

The grandchildren loved playing pranks on her, even if it resulted in them getting into trouble. It was all in good fun.

Viola will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She has now joined her two best friends Gail Little and Marie “The Three Amigos.”
